Adrián Marcelo is one of the most controversial comedians today. His national popularity skyrocketed when he participated in the second season of 'La Casa de los Famosos México', alongside other well-known personalities such as Shanik Berman, Mariana Echeverría, Mario ‘Mayito’ Bezares, Arath de la Torre, Karime Montes, and Gala Montes. In this reality show, he had frequent confrontations with Gala Montes, which generated great interest in the program and made it the most viewed in the history of Mexican television, although it also caused some brands to distance themselves from the project due to the values displayed in the 24/7 broadcast on Vix Premium.
After his forced departure from the show, Adrián Marcelo stayed away from the cameras due to intense media pressure. However, it wasn't long before he returned to social media to share his experience in 'La Casa de los Famosos' and talk about his reality show colleague, Gala Montes. Last year, a presentation of his was scheduled at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City, but it was canceled by the venue's administrators, who considered that his show promoted hate.
Recently, it was announced through a Facebook ad that Adrián Marcelo would perform at the Teatro Metropolitán with his show 'Hermanos de Leche', accompanied by La Mole. Nevertheless, the tickets did not receive a warm welcome among influencers, as practically all the seats in the venue, which has a capacity of 3,000 people, remained available.
In a meeting with the media, Adrián Marcelo was questioned about the low ticket sales for the show that was supposed to take place that night in Mexico City. Calmly, the comedian acknowledged the failure and mentioned that the capital is a complicated market in terms of entertainment offerings every weekend, adding that the comedy industry is very complicated in terms of ticket sales.
